7. Bohol

24 of Oct Thursday

Today we got up quite late, around 9 am. After a breakfast which consisted of a Mango banana Shake and sosme pancakes as well as a chicken curry, we went to Rusi -again- to get my MC fixed. It had problems startiung up. We also prepared for our next step in our journey- Bohol. Our goal was to be at the port around 7 pm so we get set over to Tagbilaran, the capital of the island Bohol, which is famous for it’s adorable Tarshirs (the monkey like animal with huge eyes), and it’s chocolate hills.

We spent almost five hours at Rusi, waiting for the amiable mechanic to fix our bikee. Unfortunately they also bought me into the idea to change my batterty, which turned out to be unneccessary.

Ferry cost 350 p person, Bike cost about 860 additional fees.

All in all a tough ride because it was so warm and crowded on the ferry that it was almost impossible to sleep.

We arrived at nighttime at Red Doorz at Camito Drive, unfortunately my cellphone was empty and my girlfriends was at 2%, but I was able to roughly remember the address of the hotel we stayed at and we were able to find it immediately.

The video below shows our Boat Trip on Bohol and our ferry trip to Southern Leyte to Maasin, where president RodrigoDuterte was born.

Bohol is yet another beautiful island, with it’s  beaches, the chocolate hills and the river tour and the wildlife  it is a very touristy place to go. But the best thing for me personally was crossing the place from Tagbilaran to Ubay. One of the best tours on a motorcycle.

Right after, we went to the chocolate hills. Of course my bike (the Rusi) had to break again. This time the throttle cable snapped, but as always, there were people helping us getting on again for like 4 USD or around that they put in another cable so that we could continue our journey. This incident was also memorable because they had a real monkey in their workshop.

We found a magical place near exhaustion when we arrived near Ubay. It was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful pool, and cost only 1000 for a night. Definitely one of the best deals I had made around that time.

“Arbilla Gardens Pension House”

A beautiful place which cost only 1000Pesos or 15 USD per night
