Here is a list of items that I used throughout my journey and which happened to help me great in recording this journey

Fujifilm X100 F

The Fujifilm is an excellent camera for shooting people. It has a great lens and a Hybrid viewfinder System. The newer F Model also offers all kinds of gadgets, which are worth the extra money.

I also have an older model for the rougher journeys. It does not mean it’s automatically more sturdy, but I wouldn’t worry too much if it fell down.

Sony DSC RX 100 VII

An extremely versatile camera which is also extremely small (biggest advantage). A very good starter for Vlogging before going into High Fi professional cameras. The only downside is, that it had no seperate Audio- In, that’s why I used two seperate Audio Mics.

Tripod Joby GorillaPod 3K Kit

A decent Tripod for shooting. I know my clips are all kind of shaky, hence I bought this and will use it more often from now on.

Rode VideoMicro

I bought it, then I sold it, then I bought it again. It’s a handy little device if your camera has an Audio-Input. Otherwise I would use a different, seperate Microphone, like the Zoom H1.

Zoom H1

I recommend this Microphone if your Camera has no dedicated audio input. It might come with additional work to sync things, but it’s still much better than to use the cameras default input.

Samsung S9 Plus or Samsung 10

A mobile device which I use often times for navigation but also for vlogging and taking pictures. I’d not recommend to buy the newest version, because you also pay for the privilege of using a state-of-the-art device. But in case you can afford it, why not?

Dermatone SPF 50 Sunscreen

I loved this Sunscreen because I would but the Carabiner on my steering wheel and could put cream on my legs, face and arms while driving. When you are riding all day long in the Asian Sun you probably need to cover your skin with a protective ointment or cream. Although doing this while riding is dangerous it’s sometimes the more convenient way of another level of protection (skin cancer versus traffic death).
